Slimming World Food Diary Lent Challenge



Slimming World Lent Challenge - Week One 
(3 - 10 March 2011)


Having failed miserably with recent weeks weight loss targets; instead of giving up one thing for lent, I pledge to stick to slimming world. I am starting early as lent starts on the Wednesday before weigh day this week, but I see no reason to wait, in order to keep on track I will record each day's food diary on here.  


NB I use my healthy A allowance for skimmed milk in tea, scrambled eggs etc.  I usually stick to the Extra Easy diet as opposed to green or original. 


Thursday Eve


Spaghetti with Quark, tinned tomatoes, 1 tbsp pesto (4 syns) and Quorn fillets.
1 Banana muller light and 1 plum.

Friday

Scrambled egg, fatless bacon, and tinned tomatoes.
Butternut squash and red pepper soup.
Pork loin and bovril on 4 ryvitas (HE).

Peppers stuffed with chicken savoury rice topped with 1oz cheddar (6 syns) served with new potatoes and passata.

I had hoped for a bigger weight loss after last weeks efforts. My consultant keeps saying that I should remember I am still recovering from the accident: I am not as active as before and my metabolism might have slowed down. Still I had hoped for at least 2lb's.  Still a challenge is just that and I will keep it up again this week.  

People keep saying I look like I have lost lots of weight which is bizarre as I haven't lost a stone from my starting weight yet which was 15 stone 13lbs. 

It made me think that I could do to measure myself so here goes.
